Parker help center

Get help starting, paying for, and managing your parking.

Start and pay for parking

Open the right location, review the rate, enter your vehicle, and complete payment.

Open the location

Scan the location QR code, open a ParkTab location link, or use location search where available. Check the location name and address before continuing. A private or unlisted location may require its direct link.

Choose parking details

Select the offered duration or option and enter the vehicle plate carefully. The price shown can depend on arrival time, length of stay, location rules, fees, taxes, vehicle details, or a private access link.

Review and pay

Review the location, plate, duration, price breakdown, and end time before paying. Complete the payment flow and wait for ParkTab to show confirmation. Supported cards or wallets depend on the checkout shown for that location.

Confirm the session

Use the active-session screen or receipt to confirm that parking started. If checkout closed or errored before confirmation, check for an active session and a bank charge before trying again.

Manage an active parking session

Check time remaining, add time when allowed, and understand when parking ends.

Find the active session

Open ParkTab from the same browser or sign in to see active parking. The session shows the location, vehicle, current end time, and available actions.

Add time

Use Add time when it is offered. The location may limit extensions because of a maximum stay, schedule, rate rule, closure, or operator policy. Review the additional price and new end time before confirming.

Leaving and returning

Most sessions authorize one continuous stay. Leave-and-return privileges apply only when the selected plan explicitly includes them; payment alone does not reserve a physical space.

Expiration

A session ends at the displayed time unless ParkTab confirms an extension. Start an extension early enough to finish payment before expiration and follow posted location rules at all times.

Use ParkTab valet

Keep your claim link safe, follow vehicle status, and request your vehicle.

Check in

Follow the valet location instructions and keep the ParkTab claim link or ticket provided at intake. It identifies the valet record used to track your vehicle.

Follow status

The valet page can show the current vehicle status as attendants process intake, parking, retrieval, and return. Status timing depends on the on-site operation.

Request your vehicle

Open the claim link and use Request vehicle when available. Submit the request once and watch for the updated status or on-site instructions rather than creating repeated requests.

Protect the claim link

Treat a valet claim link like a physical claim ticket and do not post or forward it publicly. Staff may ask for additional verification before releasing a vehicle.

Accounts, vehicles, citations, refunds, and privacy

Manage common account and payment issues and know when the location operator must help.

Account and vehicles

Sign in using the method offered by ParkTab. Keep vehicle plates accurate and remove vehicles you no longer use. Account history may help find sessions and receipts completed while signed in.

Receipts and refunds

Use the receipt or history entry to identify the exact payment. Refund eligibility is decided by the responsible operator or ParkTab policy for the transaction. If approved, bank posting time varies and is not controlled by ParkTab.

Citations

Use the citation link or citation-specific page to review or pay a citation. A parking-session receipt does not by itself cancel a citation; provide both records when disputing enforcement action.

Privacy and account deletion

ParkTab provides account and privacy controls, including an account-deletion process. Some transaction records may be retained when required for financial, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute obligations.

Locations, private rates, validations, and memberships

Understand why a location or price may only appear through a particular link or benefit.

Finding a location

Public listed locations can appear in ParkTab search or be opened from their shortcode or QR code. An unlisted location may be available only through a link supplied by the operator. Because a QR code contains a link, anyone with that QR image may be able to open the destination.

Private or access rates

Some rates are tied to a specific link, QR code, partner, event, or access path and may not appear when entering through the general location page. Always use the link supplied for the offer and confirm the rate before payment.

Validations

A validation may reduce or replace part of the standard parking price when its conditions are met. Apply it through the instructed flow and verify that the updated total appears before paying.

Memberships

A membership can provide location-specific access or pricing according to its terms. It does not guarantee a physical space unless the membership terms explicitly say so. Reservations and waitlists are not generally offered by ParkTab today.
